MULTI-X · extruder, controls and engineering
A practical extrusion unit for laboratories, universities, technical centres and production companies that require accurate control without the size and material consumption of a full production line.
Evaluate virgin, recycled and bio-based polymers, additives, colour masterbatch and new formulations using small material quantities.
Use the MULTI-X as a compact co-extruder in multilayer lines. Adjustable mounting simplifies alignment with an existing die head or main extruder.
Produce small tubes, technical profiles and material feed for 3D-printing systems with customer-specific die heads and tooling.
Add a laboratory blown film unit with cooling, take-off and winding for film development, teaching and material-quality trials.
Check processability, melt behaviour and product quality before recycled material is introduced into the main production line.
A compact and accessible machine for hands-on extrusion education, process training and demonstration work.
The same MULTI-X extrusion technology can be installed in the configuration that best fits your laboratory, existing line or available workspace.
A stable and space-saving version for a permanent working position at a defined height and angle.
Height and angle adjustment makes alignment easier when connecting to die heads, take-off units or another extruder.
The extruder is installed on a movable table or platform, with the electrical panel, touchscreen HMI and operator controls fully integrated into the unit.
Supplied for installation on a laboratory bench, customer-built frame or existing machine structure. The separate electrical control panel and touchscreen HMI are connected to the extruder by extension cables, allowing flexible positioning within the working area.
Customer-specific versions can be designed and manufactured upon request.
Robust components, clear control and accessible construction reduce setup time and simplify material changes, cleaning and maintenance.
Touchscreen control with recipe management for temperatures, speed and optional process signals.
Adaptable screw, barrel, intake zone and die connection for different materials and applications.
Efficient motors and ceramic heater bands support stable operation with low energy consumption.
Removable covers and accessible components simplify screw cleaning, inspection and maintenance.
Designed and manufactured in Denmark with reliable European electrical and mechanical components.
Built for long service life and supplied with a two-year guarantee under the agreed sales conditions.
Eight standard models combine four screw diameters with 20D or 28D process lengths. Output depends on the polymer, screw geometry, temperature and downstream equipment.

The final electrical load and number of heating zones depend on the selected model, die head and optional equipment.
The standard machine structure. Individual components and materials can be adapted when the application requires it.
The blown film module is the principal downstream option. Filtration, melt-transfer and customer-specific tooling can be added around the same extruder platform.
Round dies, pipe and profile tooling, cast-film and blown-film die heads, customer adapters and special connection flanges.
Hopper loaders, material-feeding systems, melt-pressure sensors and additional control or communication functions.
MULTI-X machines are manufactured in Denmark using reliable European components and durable materials. Short communication lines during engineering, clear documentation and continued availability of spare and wear parts support the machine throughout its working life.
The standard program includes screw diameters of 18, 20, 25 and 30 mm, each in 20D and 28D versions. The longer 28D process section gives additional melting and mixing length for demanding formulations.
Yes. The screw, barrel and feed zone can be selected for virgin, recycled and bio-based polymers. When recycled material is used, melt filtration and pressure monitoring may be recommended.
It can be supplied pillar mounted in a fixed position, pillar mounted with adjustable height and angle, as a table-mounted version, or as a complete stand-alone movable unit.
The indicative standard range is approximately 2–25 kg/h, depending on model, material, screw design, temperature, tooling and downstream equipment.
Yes. The adjustable version is particularly suitable for connection to an existing die head or main extruder, and heated hoses can be used when a flexible melt connection is required.
Yes. Customer-specific engineering is an established part of the MULTI-X concept. We can adapt the process section, mounting, controls, tooling and auxiliary equipment to a clearly defined application.
Tell us the polymer, final product, intended output and preferred mounting. We will propose a defined MULTI-X configuration and prepare a quotation.
The blown film unit is the principal related module. Other Green Extrusion machines support laboratory extrusion, recycling and in-house size reduction.
